Our aim is to provide you with the antibodies in the form best adapted to your experiments, ABD uses a specific program:
At the start of each project, there will be a detailed discussion with Advanced BioDesign’s scientists in order to develop an optimized approach for converting (if necessary) the antigen to an immunogen and to define the most appropriate form in which the mAb must be supplied to meet the client’s needs. This is based on our know-how in hybridoma development. The following information is primordial:
- What is the material? (Peptide sequence, purified protein, its amount and specificity…)
- What is the nature of the target to be identified and/or quantified? (peptide, protein, virus, post-translational modification, transmembrane modification,., transmembrane protein…) in solution or in situ
- What will be the mAb’s end application? (EIA, IHC, IF, FACS…)
Options
Additional clones can be selected during “Cloning & Isotyping” Step.
Selection of a the right couple of antibody for sandwich ELISA development.
Additional Quality Control
Additional tests can be made for a more detailed characterization of antibody:
- Specificity – via Western Blot Analysis
- Affinity/Sensitivity – via Surface Plasmon Resonance Technology Analysis
- Stability – possibility to constitute a cell bank by freezing cells or Advanced BioDesign proposes a completehybridoma back-up service by sequencing hybridoma V-region.
