EIA HRP Substrate Kit

mai 20  |  news, Products, Protein Research  |   admin

Horseradish Peroxydase (HRP) is a 40kDa protein that catalyzes the oxidation of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) that, in the presence of substrate, results in a colored or fluorescent product. HRP is one of the most commonly used protein-markers in protein research and TMB (3, 3’, 4, 4’ – tetramethylbenzidine) is the most common substrate used in ELISA. Reaction between the acceptor and oxidized H2O2 will produce a blue colored solution. Once the desired intensity is obtained, the reaction is stopped with an acidic solution (STOP Solution). The reaction’s intensity can be monitored with a 96 well plate reader at 450nm.

Product Reference

  • 01-0101 – AminoBind Plate Kit

Advanced BioDesign AminoBind Plate allow the immobilization of primary amine containing molecule, like peptide with free N-terminus… Primary amine will react with succinmidyl ester to form an amide bound (see figure).

This plate type will be convenient for peptide or molecule which do not efficiently coat by passive adsorption.

SulfoBind Plate Kit

décembre 22  |  Products, Protein Research  |   admin

Product Reference

  • 01-0101 – SulfoBind Plate Kit

SulfoBind Plate is maleimide activated plate. This linker makes able the covalently coupling of sulfhydryl containing molecule, such as Cysteine in peptide, to plate.Maleimide group will form a stable thioether bond with sulfhydryl group (see figure). This linkage is easy and rapid to form.
